really? rufus and danny de vito?? can you imagine the fun on the set??? this, in itself, must be a riot. Absolutely. Can't wait to see the result (which is to say, I hope very strongly that there will be a way for us Europeans to watch this somehow!)

, this is exciting! The title is interesting. I've got visions of Dark City running through my head lol This time, maybe I can get my internet buddies to watch it with me when I do for the first time, instead of having to wait until they can find it somewhere. ;D

Hi everyone, back from France and catching up with the news. Great to read that Rufus is working in a film (albeit internet?) with Danny De Vito. Great combination. I feel a bit like I am an alien just arrived on earth and am having to find everything again. So good to hear that Rufus is doing something he is interested in and positive about. Can't wait to find out more!

In comments on a blog, I found this description of the film:
I can tell you it takes place in Los Angeles, 1958. It's in black & white. Rufus Sewell, Rosario Dawson, Danny DeVito, Robert Forster and Mandy Moore are also part of the cast. There are musical numbers. Detectives. Femme fatales. That's it for now.
Sounds intriguing. And Robert Forster too--another fantastic actor!

Rufus + musical numbers???!!! = Rufus singing and dancing???!!! = does not compute! (Now I have visions of him tapdancing! ;D) On the other hand, although we know he hates musicals, we also know he's an actor who doesn't mind stepping outside his comfort zone......so there is a kind of logic....isn't there? Anyway, sounds very intriguing! Thanks, Rueful.

Ohhh - Rufus singing? That would be wonderful - he sounded so good in the little bits he sang in Middlemarch.

LOL! I'm not sure he's the one doing the singing. I've seen a picture with Carla Gugino dressed up as a nightclub singer (and probably the abovementioned femme fatale). On the other hand, maybe the time Rufus spent working on that music video for Kid Casio brought out his musical side.
