Ladies, please could you tell me where you may order the DVD? I asked my elder brouther, but he can't find it, he lives in USA now. Karatewka, it's not on general sale yet - the DVD we are talking about is the one sent to backers of the film (under the Kickstarter scheme to raise funds) as a reward for pledging money. That scheme closed in October, although there was an indication that the film will eventually be released on DVD commercially. So unless one of the backers decides to sell their copy, you'll have to wait, I'm afraid.

Hope they'll find their way into our mailboxes soon.

My dvd arrived in yesterdays post! I watched it last night and really enjoyed it, in fact much more than I expected to. The picture quality through my blu-ray dvd player is fabulous as it upscales (I think that's the technical term) the picture and sound quality. I'll do a proper review when I've watched it again I did love the tongue in cheekness of it. I checked the Gato Negro email last weekend and was surprised that dvd's could still be being sent out up until last Friday. I was concerned that the snowstorm in the US may have delayed it further. Fortunately not! Hubby rang me at work to say it had arrived - it made my day!

>:(I absolutely love Hotel Noir. I have watched it three times already and will be seeing again soon. He plays the world weary detective so perfectly. What a treat to just sit and watch him in almost every scene (apart from the first bit). I totally agree with GE2. This is a quirky little film, in my opinion very well written, good storyline, good actors and very well made. It deserves to do well. Lets hope it gets the distribution it deserves.

Enjoy, Walt! (No danger that you won't! ) Which reminds me - when I told Rufus my copy had arrived and I was looking forward to watching it, he said Tim Roth was supposed to be in it but had to pull out, but friends of his were making it so he stepped in. Definitely our gain!

Yeah! What luck for us! Thanks for that info GE2!! Stepping into a leading role! Rufus definitely stole the whole film. I know I am biased but it would not have been half as good without him. ;D ;D
