couple of new pics of Ruf from last night: looks like he got the word on the earthy colours... they look nice. Very elegant and understated. I like it.

He looks fine everytime but I prefer the previous pics, when he dressed down and was smiling! Anyway, thanks maxx, it's always a pleasure seeing him and having news about him. Hey! He met even his "double" Joaquin!

Oh! Oh! Second one - me like! Thanks, Maxx! And there's this at Rex: plus a couple more with Alice, and some at Getty but I can't get them to reproduce here, darn it.

Arghhhhh! I walked by that very premiere last night on my way home. But didn't linger.

Hey, Joaquin Phoenix was there as well - I wonder if anyone asked him how the rehearsals for R&R are coming along... ;D
(Sorry - just seen that Dreamer edited, too!)

it was probably some twisted joke on Rufus' part.
I can hear him now, 'Hey Al let's go. Maybe if we're standing next to each other they'll notice how much we DON'T look alike.'

Ha ha. I wonder if the papz were confused and shouted Joaquin at him...

I wish he wouldn't do that slightly mean pose, he looks far better naturally. Still, no complaints as these are a treat at any time of day. Thanks guys, for posting them.

The first and third, mainly. He looks under his eyebrows in a slightly menacing way that is so obviously a practised pose. These sometimes look like he takes himself a bit seriously, except we all know he doesn't, of course. Probably where all the 'brooding' descriptions come from. I really just wish he'd stick his tongue out or do something mischievous instead of playing up to the 'pretty but ever so slightly dangerous' image . No matter, he could show up gurning and with a lavatory seat round his neck and he'd still be a very adorable Rufus.

There is actually a photo from Zorro where he is doing just that, sticking his tongue out. I thought I might have it up but I don't. I should. I'll have to remember to add it.
That particular pose is pretty much the standard "Hollywood Pose" chin tucked in, looking up at the camera because it hides a multitude of sins and it also prevents red-eye (he, he). If you notice in the top photo Alice is doing it as well. He probably doesn't even realize he's doing it anymore.

I know the just the photo you mean, Maxx. The one where he looks as if he's just started a fire behind him and is running away. I absolutely love it, it's so cheeky.
