Happy St. David's Day to you , my friends, although it doesn't seem very much like Spring here . A cold grey murky day and the only daffodils around are supermarket ones flown in from warmer climes !! Today is also my number one son's birthday. My David is sixteen and towers over his Mum. Tonight we are all going out to dinner ...Chinese! his choice! As a St David's day treat for you (LOL), I have uploaded this You-tube clip made by a few boys from our home town . I swear my kids had nothing to do with it. They only go to the same school. : www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPvoONhpkJc

Happy St David's Day! It's not particularly nice here either today, still rather cold and unpleasant, but there are a few little signs that spring won't be far away. Happy birthday to your eldest, Frannie! Have a lovely birthday dinner. Cool video, thanks for posting! Your home town does look very nice and seems to breed a lot of creative people - fan fic writers, cool young rappers ...

A belated Happy St. David's day to our Welsh Rooftoppers. And Frannie, say a belated happy birthday to your own David from me.
As for spring - I saw a few daffodils poking up a few days ago, then the last two days have been below freezing so they've all withered. And now they say snow at the end of the week.

Eeek, Rachel, more snow? I hope not!
Some lovely little snowdrops made me smile this morning when I inspected the garden. Hopefully there will be more blossoms around very soon. I haven't seen any daffodils yet, though.
