Just saw him, it was on the earlier news also GE2. Had my head in my I-Pad and husband said "Oh look who's on". The voice would have alerted me obviously.

How admirable for Rufus to be the face of the Appeal for the Syrian refugees. This is a terrible crisis and I so admire Rufus. He has gone up in my estimation even more than he was already, which was mighty high!!!!
What a surprise when his handsome face and lovely voice appeared at the end of the Channel 4 News!!!!

It's great to see how often Rufus supports charity appeals - hopefully the feedback will bring help to those poor people in and around Syria!

Thanks for the link GE2. What a very sobering appeal. It made me think in these times of self indulgence. It's good to be able to give something back isn't it? Would anyone with screencap capabilities like to post a cap showing the contact number etc to encourage donations? I'm surprised the donations line number didn't remain on screen when Rufus was on camera. Anyway here's the link to make donating easier www.dec.org.uk/ Methods to donate are: 24 hour: 0370 60 60 900Text: HOPE to 70000 to give £5Cheque: DEC Syria Crisis Appeal, PO Box 999, London, EC3A 3AAOr go to the website and click on DONATE NOW you can pay by all the usual cards and Paypal www.dec.org.uk/£25 buys vital medical wraps for 5 of the injured

Thanks for putting the details up, Nell. Here's the screencap confirming them: The BBC reports that the appeal has raised £3.4 million in just two days: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21911152
