Thanks for your reviews, PGG and Robela! I'm looking forward to seeing that excellent cast in action, if the film ever comes to the US.
Have a great trip, Robela!

, Robela, so you had a private screening, what a luxury - did you scream a lot (just joking)!

Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts on the film, and to Rueful for the heyuguys video (great interview once again) and to Nell for the additional reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed ATTAM - even though I was thoroughly confused, too! Very slickly filmed and with believable characters (although I think Toby Stephens was miscast) but just too many interwoven strands to be able to keep track of them clearly. Rufus looked wonderful - exceptionally nice stubble going on there ! He had told me on one of the OT chats that he enjoyed playing a cockney copper, and the accent was terrific. He also has a VERY nice couple of opening, non-speaking, scenes..... Paul Shipper, who designed the poster for the film, has posted some more of the artwork in his blog: paulshipperstudio.com/blog/2013/4/3/all-things-to-all-menThe final header: The early concept by original illustrator Mark Raats: And another by Mark Raats: From the blog: I suggested to George that we could create a cool looking teaser poster for the film, get it out there and then concentrate on the main poster after that. George quite liked the idea but was not completely convinced and wanted to see my ideas. So we talked about the essence of the film in depth and the feel he wanted. London was a big part of the film and one of the early tag lines was "Who Lit The Fuse", I had a production photo of Rufus Sewell running in the streets of London that looked particularly strong, it's also one that Mark used in his early concepts. So, I started sketching out ideas and once they were drafted out I emailed them out to George. Here's the first of them: and another (see the rest on the blog): The most important part of the illustrated poster that Paul Shipper made primarily for the director and original illustrator: And some unused poster concepts (there are more on the blog):

I still think they made a mistake putting Toby Stephens rather than Rufus on the London bus ad, though!

Went to see ATTAM today and did enjoy it, plenty of Rufus, a very agile Rufus I might add. Plot a bit confusing but beautiful shots of London, many of them non landmark scenes, but very familiar to me. I can see why this role appealed to Rufus so much.
