I need a new phone for privacy reasons, but not sure what to get. Seriously, I don't get that many calls or texts - just from my Mom and daughter - so I don't want to spend a lot of money. I see there's a lot of "interference" where I live, too. (Hope there aren't any calls or texts that I have not been getting.) It's hard to know what/where to get one.

I had a iPhone4, now I have a Note2. I use it for business so voice, mail, internet and most important I don't pay the bill. Android (and Symbian) devices are more user-friendly, you get your phone and you can do anything, no restrictions (more or less) and no specific software to handle it. iPhone has a better design and display but less models, now it's just iPhone5. If you use your phone to make calls and txt, I suggest one of the many models by Samsung or HTC. I work for Nokia so I suggest not ot buy one (touch or not, very personal but I don't like it a lot when I need to type long mails).
