What did you think of Rock 'n' Roll when you first read it?It's probably less clear to read than to watch. I've said this before, but once I've hit upon an idea that can roundup my thoughts, I stick to it. The advantage for me in doing Stoppard is that I am partially thought-blind.I've heard you use that term. What do you mean by it?[Laughs.] I mean I'm a bit stupid. That's what these euphemisms are for, you know? Getting around the point.
Roof in rare form. Now that he's an overnight sucess I feel so clever for being a fan all of these years. www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Story.aspx?ci=555758

Hold the phone! Let me make sure I'm understanding this correctly, is Ruf saying that he and Ben Browder went to acting school together? Seriously? Is this the first time we are hearing this from Ruf, or am I the only one for whom this is a surprise?

That's what's so cool about Rufus, he's refreshingly candid--no BS-- I love reading his interviews. How fun that Stoppard took them on a "field trip" to see The Stones! I guess the way things work out like dominos in life-one thing falling into the next--it is a good thing he didn't do Shining City--which made way for the other things we love that he was in, and eventually R & R like he mentioned. I am REALLY looking forward to Vinyan, BTW. As for Rufus mentioning there might be people thinking he could not do a romantic lead (which makes doing one all the more appealing) it's certainly not THIS "people" thinking any such thing!! Do one Ruf, PLEASE! ;D
