Parker and Paul were very handsome, but they can't beat Rufus's best "P" role - Petruchio!

What a cunning solution, GE2! I love it. "P" role - Do you remember the second scene of Arcadia: Hannah: All academics who reviewed my book patronized it. Bernard: Surely not. Hannah: Surely yes. The Byron gang unzipped their flies and patronized all over it. The arguments of Hannah and Bernard are great, funny, and noisy.

But the most wonderful thing about Arcadia surely was gorgeous, witty Septimus!

Theatre World Awards, 1995 - Billy Crudup won an award for Septimus in Arcadia and Rufus won an award for Owen in Translations. (Rufus's smile is so cute. )

(Awww, lovely pic, Adina - thank you!)
Have to say, five-o'clock-shadow looks better on the more mature Rufus (IMHO).

I agree, and I'd like to add that the older he gets, the better he looks in a suit!

He looks great in suits, but I prefer Petruchios dress.

- Have you changed? - Yeah. - Are you sure? - Yeah, yeah. This was Ross and Kendal in Uncorked. They were cute.

(Oh, yes, I love this dialogue. It's so realistic.) They were a lovely couple, but it didn't last. Dorothea Brooke did it the other way round, first marrying a jerk and then ending up with lovely Will.

You called Ross's best friend Tom and Mr Casaubon "jerk"? Ah, you are a merciless fangirl, Kissmekate! Take pity on them and let's go to the first part of The Last of Doctor Syn for a Jerk. Jerry Jerk, though only a lad of a dozen years, possessed two excellent qualifications : pluck and a head like a bullet. He had got through his schooling so far without a taste of the birch: not that he hadn't deserved it, but the truth was — Mr. Rash was afraid of him. Once he had rapped the little urchin very severely on the head with his knuckles and made them bleed. Young Jerry had laughed, stoutly declaring to everyone that when he grew up he intended to be a hangman, just for the pleasure of pulling the bolt for the schoolmaster. So ever after Jerry went by the name of "Hangman Jerk".(I love the way Rufus read Doctor Syn. His voice turned the flamboyant stories into a true fun. )

(OK, I'm prepared to go easy on Tom, but certainly not on that dried-up horrible Mr. Casaubon!)
Doctor Syn was immense fun, but Rufus's voice was never sexier than in "Nick Silver Can't Sleep".

Poor characters were thirsty and they couldn't sleep - Hotel Noir is a better place than the garden, look at them... ...Felix is definitely not thirsty and they are sleeping.

Oh, Felix is happily asleep and delightful to look at, but alas, he wasn't always as lucky as his name would have it. His 21st century lookalike Aurelio Zen had some strokes of bad luck, but he always prevailed in the end.

Hmm, but there's only one parachute. Let's see who will get it --- Ethics Man

Ethics Man wouldn't approve of Angus's motives, but he also didn't have the thrill of seeing a real mermaid.
