Hi, I'm new as you might have guessed! Bit shy, bit more of a lurker then poster. Accidentally discovered the Rooftop and couldn't help but join up.

Welcome RoofieRoo, hope you enjoy yourself here on the Rooftop. A great place to learn about Rufus and what he's up to. Agree with you about both Rufus's incredible range and your admiration of his "pickiness".

Hi again! Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself.
I agree with you about his talent, especially about the baddies. He always makes them three-dimensional even when they are not written that way.
A lot of interesting media is hidden in the threads--photos, old interviews, etc--so have fun digging around.

RoofieRoo and welcome! You didn't mention Taming of the Shrew or Charles 2. I highly recommend if you've not seen them.

RoofieRoo and welcome! You didn't mention Taming of the Shrew or Charles 2. I highly recommend if you've not seen them. I totally forgot TTOTS And now I have to re-watch because its pure gold. Charles II is a gorgeous production and Rufus is excellent, but Helen McCrory steals the show in that one due to the nature of the characters.
