"Nemesis"? Isn't that a teeny tiny bit too big word for a Wodehouse character? Rory has such a helpful personality, and he just likes setting things straight... I would rather call him Honest Big Mouth. Oh, no...you are not giving Rory enough credit for his evil genius. I feel quite certain that he was a member of a vital department during the war, where he learned to give out the wrong information to the enemy and honed his radio and television tuning skills. Colonel, Captain, it's all the same--red faces and small bristly mustaches.

Colonel, Captain, it's all the same--red faces and small bristly mustaches. Commissioner, too (at least judging by a certain movie we know!) I must confess real life got in the way quite a bit - nothing serious, just a lot of work - and I never managed to listen to Jeeves, grrr ... Is it still online?

I feel quite certain that he was a member of a vital department during the war, where he learned to give out the wrong information to the enemy and honed his radio and television tuning skills. Mrs Spottsrueful passed a hand across her brow. She appeared to be in a sort of mediumistic trance. "I feel quite certain that he was a member of a vital department during the war..."Oh, go on, Mrs Spottsrueful, go on! "...where he learned to give out the wrong information to the enemy and honed his radio and television tuning skills."! I am impressed! Oh, yes, yes, and if we count back nine generations, we'll get Titus Oates, the leading evil misleader of Charles II's reign. Charles: This guy, girls?? Are you sure? "Fascinating, fascinating," said Mrs Spottsrueful. "And now let me take you to the Long Gallery. Don’t tell me where it is. Let me see if I can’t find it for myself."And now back to reality - to the tactless but harmless Rory. The second episode is still available: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b041vcqk But only two days left! Listen to the play, boys and girls, it's fun, don't miss the opportunity!
