Ooh, that's one of my favourites. It's from a photoshoot called "Snowdon on Stage", if I remember correctly. (Pity it's not a still from a film. I'd LOVE to see him play a musician again. There's nothing like a sexy man playing the piano  ) |

'Snowdon on Stage' is a book of collections of photos by Lord Snowdon of theatrical people over four decades; I have this book.
The photo of Rufus was taken in 1995 in Soho House, a private members club.
Lord Snowden recalls that that was the night that Rufus accompanied Tom Jones' singing, and comments that 'it was a great night for Welsh women everywhere.'
When I posted this before, my comment was >>> ' three great Welsh men together.'
In the preface to this book is the description '....Rufus Sewell with his dangerous sexy sardonic swagger.'
Amen to all that! 
If you love the theatre , you will love this beautiful tribute to the theatrical greats .
It is worth trying to get hold of it . |
