I can't believe it, this is one of my favourite films, it's SO VICIOUS! I never saw the original play and to see Rufus in a stage version of this is probably my absolute fantasy Rufus casting! I'm ready to see this several times!! OMG!

Rufus as Larry! Ah! Woof woof! I saw the movie in cinema -- in those days I wasn't as prepared before watching a film as now (now I am a Rufus fangirl, so I do the read-all-articles-watch-all-trailers-eat-all-Rufus-information thing before a film; I am so prepared, I go to the cinema with the face of a toad: "Okay, Rufus, I am ready, surprise me!!"  And he does. Always.  ) -- but pre-Rufus, I was like, "hey, this looks like something I might enjoy, let's see it." And Closer looked interesting, so I went...and I was like: what! WHAT! WHAT! The phrases you used, "steamy", "pretty intense", "so vicious", are all good. Oh, yes, I am sure the stage version will be FUN! The darkest sort of fun. Sparks will fly during the performance, that is sure.  For those who can go and haven't met Closer yet, I don't recommend reading the book or watching the film. It has many many good lines and dialogues which can take your breath away, so let Rufus deliver them to you. Meet Larry in his performance! Rufus as Larry, ah ah ah! |

Have seen this film in the past and it was on cable yesterday. I think Rufus will have fun with this role. Unless it comes to the US, I will have to enjoy it through those of you who can attend. Get those cameras and notebooks ready!
