Catherine Keener, Travis Tope Join Chloe Moretz in ‘November Criminals’ (Exclusive)

Sacha Gervasi is directing the adaptation of Sam Munson's 2011 murder mystery novel

TopeNewcomer Travis Tope is set to star opposite Chloe Moretz in Sacha Gervasi's “November Criminals,” while two-time Oscar nominee Catherine Keener will play Moretz's mother, two individuals familiar with the Indian Paintbrush project have told TheWrap.

Based on the 2011 novel by Sam Munson, story is set in Washington D.C. and follows a rebellious teenager (Tope) who finds himself leading his own investigation into the murder of a classmate.

“Hitchcock” director Gervasi recently rewrote the script, which was initially adapted by Steven Knight (“Eastern Promises”). Gervasi is currently casting the role of Tope's father.

It was suggested on the Cloe board that it could be this, it seems it went quiet for a time.
