That's my hope to. They will probably have him in it to die or something cruel like that. It is already sad his stint will come to an end. I will continue to watch (I think) but with less interest (I am sure).

I must confess that I found Victoria less fun after episode 5. I missed Lord M and thought that Prince Albert was miscast. If I had to choose between the brothers I would have gone for the other one (sorry, I can't think of the name at the moment)

Nope, no Lord Melbourne in series 2. He pretty much went out of Victoria's life after he resigned as prime minister.

I remember Rufus saying in an interview that Lord Melbourne and Victoria did correspond after he was no longer PM. I hate to think that LM and Victoria never spoke to each other again.
