When i read about Victoria ,i did what I always do when a new work project for Rufus is announced .
I google it !
and either read book or read up on historical figures.
So... William Lamb (Lord Melbourne )was noted for his looks and charm.
His mother was surrounded by scandal.
His wife Lady Caroline Lamb, (notorious for her affair with Lord Byron).from whom he was separated legally for several years
Whispers of affairs with several society women.
When Victoria acceded to the throne she was eighteen, Melbourne was Prime Minister and in his forties , their meetings as monarch and Prime Minister far exceeded what was necessary and scandal ensued, until they were warned to cut down on them.
Melbourne Australia is named after him.
Just the sort of thing we like Rufus to have.

Great stuff. I will look forward to this one. Thanks for spotting PGG and posting the news - It's been a while... I too read up on Rufus's character. Interesting, could have done a programme just on LM. Gonna be a good one for our man.  Hope he's got some warm clothes and lots of scarves..LOL...it's gonna to cold up there. All the best Rufus. |

Does this mean that Rufus is back in the UK or soon will be ? Twitter was snowing with articles last night. I read a few, they were all quite similar but I did read that filming is already underway. They've been filming at Castle Howard this week. I look forward to a pic of Lord Melbourne ..... |

Please could one of you clever IT ladies post a link as i'm not sure how to do it properly  Daily mail (uk) newspaper online has an article re Victoria with some photos mainly of Jenna Coleman but Rufus does appear  Cheers x |
