A finer pair of bugger's grips I never saw. got me on this one. I've never head this before so rather than look it up I'm going to try: ears? epaulettes? eyebrows?

well then I guess 'ears' were close.
The second definition confuses me. For some reason I thought buggery was specific to the male of species which is to say the term, not the act.
Ah well. I learned something today. I can rest now.

I thank you (said in loud, music-hall type voice).

I've seen several commercials on HBO advertising "John Adams" lately. I had to subscribe especially for this! Only a little over a week to wait! I've seen several different clips now and it looks like it's going to be an excellent mini-series, but I've yet to see any clip with Rufus in it. I do hope he has a sizeable part.
And, GE2, love the picture! That Continental Army uniform sits very well on Rufus!

I saw a review for JA in Entertainment Weekly today, but no mention of Rufus. Anyone seen any reviews that mention him?

I checked the official site and looked at their timeline. It looks as though the year 1800 is in episode six so I checked and Alexander Hamilton died in 1804 so he might make it into six of the seven episodes.
