I'm working on getting it up on youtube asap. The program was about the '68 anti-war/protest movement. I'm going to have to edit the RnR-related clips out of the full 45 minutes show though. Hang in there.
They used footage from the London run of the show. Omg, this just reminds me how much Pete Sullivan kicks Stephen Kunken's ass as Ferdinand.

Uke, I can't find the video on YouTube, is it there? I can't see the ITV interview, and I'm waiting with baited breath! (What is baited breath anyway? As if you could use your breath for bait??)
:-)

I think it's bated breath, rugirl. Pedant, moi? Yes, oh wise one.... Bated here is a contraction of abated through loss of the unstressed first vowel (a process called aphesis); it means “reduced, lessened, lowered in force”. So bated breath refers to a state in which you almost stop breathing as a result of some strong emotion, such as terror or awe. An apt description, eh? Rai ;D

No sh*t, Uke!! And this is my first look at David Calder instead of Brian Cox....just from the little snippet I think I much prefer BC.
Although having seen it so many times with the original London cast, any changes were unsettling for me.
And that idiot Michael interviewing Stoppard, whose response was brilliant....thanks Uke!

Great Find! Saw bits of the play I hadn't seen yet. I recently re-read the play--love it. Very funny Greatful Dead line btw, Rufus delivered it beautifully.
