Hi All
By now many of you will have received an email from Photobucket advising your third party hosting will be disabled unless you pay an annual $399 fee. This means that images in Photobucket cannot be linked to other websites unless you pay up. I can see a few images have disappeared and are replaced by a horrid Photobucket box.
I've search around and a couple of recommended sites are tinypic.com and imgur.com. It'd be such a shame to lose all those lovely pics here. I've started saving my images to imgur and reposting new links. I'd be grateful if we could all do likewise so we can save as much as we can. I appreciate we won't be able to replace everything but at least it won't be a complete disaster.
For avatars you can now link directly to your pc so there's no need to use an external site.
Thanks to all for your continued posting.

Thanks Nell! I´ve read a lot about this on other forums, and it says that tinypic.com is owned by PB, so might go the same way, and that imgur.com changed its ToS last year forbidding third-party hosting.
Some other possibilities are fotki.com, Village.photos, flickr and Postimage. I haven´t tried any of them, as my PB still works. I have a 20Plus there, that I opened before 1st June 2017, so I´ll be okay till December 2018, when I renew my account when it´s due for renewal.

It´s also good to save your pics to your PC, so that they won´t be completely lost, when PB decides to break the links.

I deleted my photobucket account a while ago... because I've found ou a better way to upload pics on boards ... e.g. Gambetto or few germany pages - for free ... and I can upload the pics directly from my computer
