disabling the ad-blocker

I wonder whether I'm the only one who has this problem:

I had set my browser to disable the ad-blocker on the RT homepage - nevertheless I usually get an an admonition that I should disable the ad-blocker.

I use the firefox - is there any expert who can tell me what to do to avoid this reprimand?

I don't know how to help with this but hopefully someone will.

Um... in Firefox go up to the EXTRAS ... there are POPUPBLOCKER .. try to switch it off there.
IF NOT .. go to EXTRAS in ADD-ONS ... there are different possiblities to swith them off, too.

Or send me a pm with screenshots...

 I tried a few things. IMHO it's not the pop-up blocker that causes the problem. I guess it could be the private modus that caused the problem. I need to watch this a little bit. The admonition did not appear always, but I can't  remember whether I was using the private modus then or not.

Apologies for the late answer. I was so peeved about the whole thing that I didn't have a look at the RT for some time.

Edit: the moment I sent the reply, proboards started its request with "can we talk?" - but at least that ugly photo didn't reappear.
