Rufus's Birthdays

So it was Rufus's birthday last week, MoB was watching the TV pundits discussing International Rugby game,(Pre-match, then Match, then discussing endlessly afterwards, we lost, don't ask the score, Please!)
So I put my feet up, treated myself to a large glass of my favourite wine, a lovely Californian Rose if you would like to know, and I toasted the Birthday boy.
Then I wondered how many of us remember the year we made a card for him and how we sent it around the world for members to sign it starting with an Australian member called Numbat and eventually two members (I think it was GE2 and was it you Nell?) took it to Roof's Agent.
And how some of us met in London and had lunch, ( not me, unfortunately. My children were still young then and I couldn't go but I rang the restaurant and spoke to everyone !).
