Now here's a challenge. Over on the RA board some computer literate lass has managed to put together a RA calendar - several of them in fact. Do we have anyone with the skills who could do that for us? This is what I mean c19.proboards53.com/index.cgi?board=calendar2007&action=display&thread=1165255044I lack a) the knowhow and b) the creativity to accomplish such a task myself but would happily download and print so I could display to the world (at work anyway!)

No, it is actually a 12 month calendar with lovely pictures of Richard on each month. They can then be printed out and put together as a wall calendar. It would be lovely if we could have a different Rufus for each month. There is a template if you have Word 2007 (which I dont!) and other applications seem to cost money but just thought someone might have either W2007 or a similar sort of program.

RA, quoll? Are you talking Richard Armitage here?
He's rather nice - he's Guy of Gisborne in the new BBC Robin Hood series (and the only thing worth watching in it - the rest is crap - dumbed down or what?), and for anyone who can get The Vicar of Dibley, he's in the final two episodes (shown here as Christmas specials) and
**spoiler**
ends up marrying Dawn French!
But Rufus is the main man, and a calendar sounds like a great idea! And using screen caps, we could have one role, per month, one pic per day!!
Or is that beeing greedy? ;D LOL
(And, yes, not being a techie, I have no idea how much work that would involve, but I do know it would be a lot!)

Yes, sorry, Richard Armitage it is. I know about the VoD because some kind soul has downloaded the RA bits of the special across the two weeks. I used to think he was good - before Rufus - but now I tend to think he is a tad wooden. Nice chap though just the same and quite droolworthy in his way. He was definitely "John Thornton" but other things - like the dreadful doctory one, Malice Aforethought and the Lynley episode didnt stir me much.

I just pm-ed the girl who made the RA calendars and she said she did them on Publisher (which I dont have). If we did try and make one, has anyone got any suggestions for which pic for which month? They have to be good quality pics though!

Thanks Maxx!! I was pondering how to do screencaps, never having done them before!

I'm another September baby and a bit of merry monarch would go down just fine. Could we possibly have one without the horse's arse wig though?

What do you guys have in mind for October?
I am an October baby and I love the real Rufus pictures. From the gallery, page 2, Ruf sitting at the table (row 3, photo 2); or Ruf leaning against the wall with his fingers entwined (page 2, row 7, photo 5); or Ruf with his shirt hanging out (page 1, row 9, photo 3). I love them all but these three stand out, to me.
