That dropped into my inbox this morning. apparently someone created a trailer for a fan fic and they've used Rufus as the star. It's kind of interesting in a strange way. youtube.com/watch?v=p4hdez6hFgY

They caught some great facial expressions of Ruf! I didn't quite "get" it.......but I certainly enjoyed watching it!
Thanks for posting this! Michelle

I just screen capped that picture the other day so I found it really interesting what they chose to use.

(Please feel free to kidnap this post and take it over to the part of the board dedicated to A Knight's Tale.) I love that scene in AKT where Adhemar is watching them dance - the myriad expressions crossing Ruf's face... But when it moves to the (out-take) scene outside, where he's throwing money at the crowd... I know he's in some kind of manic mood, it's implied he's wound up by the noise, but I really don't understand what's going on in Adhemar's head at that point. I've listened to the director's commentary and I still don't understand... I know he's been pushed over the edge, but what edge and why is he doing what he's doing? Anyone care to enlighten me? (You have 7 days until I am offline for a house move - and who knows when BT and Sky will get their acts together and get me back online?!)

I need enlightening here! Where is this scene??? I've never seen Adhemar throwing money anywhere! How did I miss that??? Where do I find this? And yes, I'm willing to buy another DVD if that's what it takes! Michelle

I think there is also a Region 1 version. Along with that scene, there is also a scene with Adhemar in the practice ring, stripped to the waist, fighting hand-to-hand. (Not that that influenced my purchase, you understand. ;D)

Well holy jousting, batgirls! I wonder if I have that on my DVD? I don't know if I ever saw any "extras" which is really odd! Do you think the region 1 has the same extras? I can buy either, but it would be cheaper to do R1 for me. Although my hubby is quite aware that the children can starve so long as I have my Rufus collection!
Thanks, Reveuse! Michelle

It does. I've seen it. I like the one where he bashes the guy in the face with his fist because he pinches him with his armour.
I hate that film. I can't even begin to tell you the dislike I have for it. I'd watch Zorro first. Capping it was nearly all I could do. But for you rev, I will watch that extra and try to formulate a hypothisis which you will find on a thread over in the the "work" section when you return.

Seriously? May I ask why? What is it about that film you detest so much? Is it because it's a period film? A "big-budget"/commercial film? Being one that loves it so much (it's not my most fave Ruf film, but I do love it!), I'm really just curious as to why you don't like it. I can't imagine putting it behind Zorro!!!!! EEEEEWWW! LOL!

I'd be interested in knowing also Maxx, I absolutely loved it and it's in my top 5. The only thing I could find fault with was SS's wardrobe being out of the period.
