I pass this along only anecdotally not because it has any real content. www.nypost.com/seven/10122007/gossip/pagesix/digital_delight.htmI think it's interesting that Rufus has been determined to be important enough that his name has been included in a very short list of celebs who attended the premiere of Joaquin Phoenix's new film...

The Roof is such a celebrity these days, here's another mention:
Rufus Sewell left a big tip at Papatzul, where they actually serve the original dish the Mayans gave to conquistadors, thinking they were gods.

C: He's a kind generous man despite his obvious lofty status I don't know. I don't usually put these up on the website but this one tickled me enough that I did.

I love it, it looks like he's going to be genuinely revered here. They're going to eat him up with a spoon.

This isn't so much gossip column as blog, but I'll put it here anyway: I had lunch with actor Rufus Sewell (Amazing Grace, The Illusionist, Dark City) today. OK, that's a lie, but I did sit 10 feet from him at a West Village restaurant. The servers were all abuzz, knowing he was someone, but not sure who that someone might be. Chris and I filled them in after he left. He's starring in Tom Stoppard's new play Rock 'N' Roll, which opens on Friday. This was my first celebrity sighting in months, and it was a great one. I'll take my one Rufus Sewell over 100 Ed Westwicks any day of the week. www.fidgetingwildly.com/fidgetingwildly/2007/10/celebrity-sight.htmlI think after tomorrow, they'll KNOW who he is, all right!

quite amusing to read such things but these pieces of gossips again made me think why people keep confusing Joaquin Phoenix for Rufus Sewell and vice versa? they DO NOT look alike at all!!!!
