Ahhh, WEIRD!!
Yesterday in the subway I was glancing over to the magazine the guy next to me was reading and I saw the NY Mag caricature of Rufus with the record staring back at me. Turns out the guy was reading that Music Playlist thingie.
Just now, I turned on the radio (which I never do) to listen to some Xmas schmaltz and it's Rufus talking about filming in Prague!! (It's WNYC btw which I think is NPR so this may be a repeat of that thing they did a few weeks ago? I just heard Sinead too).
NO WAY!!

Ever since I saw Rock-n-Roll--it seems that everytime I turn the radio on ---there is a Rolling Stones song, or Pink Flloyd or a Beach Boys song---Its the Rufus energy in the AIR !!

Well, Uke, "Rock'n'Roll" has been adopted as a textbook for next semester here at UNH and I get to order it! The professor who is using it is in the Theatre Dept and he requested a copy of the play when I went to London. I had Rufus autograph it for him.
Perhaps that influenced him a bit, but he's always used Stoppard plays in his classes.

That will be a great play for discussion in that class--Being a Stoppard piece it's meaty!! And who knows, I would think because it involves fairly recent history and Rock 'n Roll it will really capture the class' attention. Some may even recall the wall going down from thier youth.
