So I wonder - with RnR almost coming to an end (ahhhh, final week, people!! ) - will Rufus get a caricature at Sardi's? I know that most people on the walls are B'way legends or at least regulars BUT Michael Sheen got one after Frost/Nixon! Plus, one would expect that Rufus will soon be a Tony Award nominee so that should lend him some weight... I just hope he's eaten there List of caricatures at Sardi's restaurant

really, poor fellow, I hope he hasn't had to. (oops, did I say that outloud) though I agree the caricature would be fun.

Yup, he has eaten there - when Translations opened: When it came to man-watching, the ladies' choice was clearly Rufus Sewell, who's also in the play. Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith asked to have her picture taken with him, and, come the wee hours, Sewell had no fewer than five beauties attending him at the bar.
His female admirers may know that the 27-year-old actor is being touted as the U.K.'s next big star. Fittingly, William Morris agent Gene Parseghian threw him a party last night attended by Marisa Tomei and Christopher Walken. www.nydailynews.com/archives/gossip/1995/03/21/1995-03-21_republicans_in_h_wood__alive.htmlHe didn't get a caricature then, so he darn well ought to now! ;D
