Anyone else having problems with their clock? Most of the day mine is 5 hours ahead, but sometimes it is an hour behind. It makes it appear that I'm posting when I'm sleeping, you don't suppose I post in my sleep now? ? Oh great, the time just changed from 12:06 PM to 6:08AM! It's really a little after 7:00 AM

I've given up on the clock on this thing. Uke has it set to GMT. Which is fine, but I often see people have posted at a time we haven't actually arrived at yet even in GMT.
Ree it sounds to me as if you have your personal time set to GMT -5 and when you login it it changes to your personal time. Could that be what it happening? I assume you are in the Eastern Time Zone in the US. The general clock--the clock you see before logging in used to be set for that time but it isn't any longer. Now it matches the time in London. Thus you may perceive a time flip flop of 5 hours.

No, I'm actually in central standard time. London time is 6 hours ahead of me. A few days ago my personal setting was also set to central, but I'll double check. Thanks for the info.

We're now on British Summer Time (BST), which is one hour ahead of GMT. It matched for about a week! But come 28 October (ooh, so close to you-know-who's birthday!) we'll be back in sync.

it's so messed up this year it could drive you crazy. Uke will need to adjust it. She probably just hasn't noticed yet which means we'll all have to adjust our clocks again as well since the time is plus/minus BST.

That clock is sh*t and doesn't incorporate daylight saving. I changed it to CET so that it should now match BST but I can't be bothered to do anything else about it. It's only a silly clock.

If it helps any, under "modify profile" there is a setting asking if you're observing daylight savings time. Mine was set to "no," so I changed it to "yes," and now it's exactly right. I haven't had a problem with it.

I checked that box too, but my time is still erratic. When I logged on earlier it was still 5 hours a head, but last time I checked, it was correct. I've decided to ignore it and let everyone think I am a vampire that never sleeps ;D

Looks right to me! It is set to London time (helps me figure out when the rest of the family are up and phonable) and it is within 3 minutes of what my computer clock says. Who knows what is the "real" time anyway!
