how to attach photos?

I want to use a photo in the cap it game. I have downloaded pic from roofsewell.com to my pc. Have the Url . Tried inserting this >>>message " Windows needs to open another window"
also have also tried drag and drop pic to message area with same results
Help! what am I doing wrong

You don't need to download the pic to your computer, Frannie. All you need to do is copy the URL of the photo you want to use, then hit "reply" in the Cap-it thread, which will make the dialogue box come up.

Paste the URL in the dialogue box, then highlight it, then click on
the 4th tag from the left on the second row (the one that looks like a picture in a frame), then click "preview" and the photo should be there.

BTW, do you still need help changing your avatar? I did reply to your "help" message on whatever thread it was, but you haven't got back to me yet.

Then managed to find my old atavar and replaced it , or so I thought !! Roofie-baby in all his glory .

I try to upload it under your instructions GE2, but it fails to insert photo (I have photos on my computer). I'm doing something wrong and probably do not know what it is.

You won't be able to post it directly from your computer, Martina. Do you have a Photobucket account? You'll need to upload your photos to that, or a similar website, then you can use the URL allocated to each photo to post them here.
