Assuming you mean my best girl friend, I'd explain to him that she's taken already (which she is), then use my coyness to try to lure him in for myself.

Put my personal feelings aside and do what the role asked. Rufus knows it's part of the role, so he knows I don't mean it to harm him. He's a champ like that.  What would you do if the role in question instead involved a kissing scene and he asked you to "rehearse" it with him? |
