Eeee!! I've just come back from seeing the movie with a cast Q&A. I know the reviews were mixed but I frigging LOVED it. I've seen the play in London and New York and now the movie and eeeeee SO GOOD!! Is anyone else a fan?

This is the one set in Cambridge isnt it? I am so looking forward to seeing it as I always love a glimpse of my home town.

It's set in Sheffield and then the boys take the Oxbridge entrance exams and go for interviews at Oxford & Cambridge. I think there a few shots of Cambridge thrown in there.

I just caught up with this one over the holidays, and I loved it, too. Stephen Campbell Moore impresses me each time I see him. And Frances De La Tour was sublime, as usual.

I am crazy for The History Boys, not only because of the characters, but also because of how it treats the subjects of homosexuality and a beloved teacher's inappropriate conduct. I only wish I could have seen it on the stage. I think it is Richard Griffiths who played Hector; he was also wonderful in the small part he played in Venus.
