loved it, loved it, loved it.
simon pegg was wonderful, it was clever and witty and poked great good fun at the genre.
and best of all it full of people we love--
bill nighy jim broadbent edward woodward timothy dalton paddy considine
I kept wishing rufus was in it, but I couldn't imagine what role he would play...

Thanks for the review. I definitely want to see this movie. Looks like my sort of thing. I didn't know Timothy Dalton was in this movie! God, I had the BIGGEST crush on him in the 80's! But talk about a man who hasn't aged well, poor dahling.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one a couple of weeks ago. Just last week was wandering through the market place at Wells where the big shoot out was! Watched it with my ex policeman son who said there were lots of "in" comments most of which sort of zipped past me but I didnt stop laughing nevertheless.

Hubby wants to see this one big time! I have no interest in it, but I imagine I'll go with him! I have many "paybacks" coming!
