For those (who like myself) really liked Sophia Myles in T&I (yes, we know Isolde the charcter chose the wrong guy....but I still liked the actress playing the part.) Anywhoo, she's now in a new US TV show "Moonlight" on CBS. I saw the pilot ep and I thought it was pretty good. Funnily, I liked her again, not realizing she was "the girl" from T&I until I looked her up on IMDB. Oh, and the actor in the lead, Alex O'Loughlin, is total cutie. If he plays his cards right, he just *might* temporarily jump to my #1 drool object, ahead of Gerard Butler (been awfully quiet in GB land lately!) alpha.cbs.com/primetime/moonlight/moonlightfans.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=8&Itemid=44P.S. Anyone wondering what the nicely lit building behind the cast on the CBS site, that's LA's City Hall Building. I must say, I think the city should keep the green lights on it. Looks very cool.

I noticed she was in it. I like her quite a lot but I'm tired of vampire series. When will someone do a decent werewolf series?

When will someone do a decent werewolf series? Well, you know what they say ... if you want it, you should write it!! ;D

And I see the series also stars another actress from a Rufus film, Shannyn Sossamon from A Knight's Tale. I'll have to look for this because I also liked Sophia Myles in T&I, in spite of her character's blind spot concerning Lord Marke. I haven't seen her in anything else.

Sophia Myles went to my school, albeit 100 years after I did

I think she played Lucy in the most recent BBC (Masterpiece Theater) version of Dracula. It was on about 4-6 months ago.

I read in some fall preview that Sophia and Shannon were going to be in this, then forgot all about it! I'm not much into vampire TV series........but I would like to see this just to have a look!

I just watched S. Myles in a Dr. Who episode. She was playing Madame Pompadour. I'd never seen Dr. Who before, and I doubt I will again.

Oh, Ree - didn't you like that episode? I thought it was wonderful! It made me cry at the end.....
That was where she met David Tennant, and they became an item.

I like some Sci Fi, but not this particular program. Would it have killed them to spend a little money on the set? For God's sake, a blanket served as the division between the two dimensions. Madam Pompadour simply folded it back, took a step, and was on the spaceship! Phenomenal special effects there! I haven't seen David Tennant in anything else, so I won't beat up on him too much. After all, it's not his fault he could be caricatured as a weasel. Okay, that was just mean, unfortunately I meant it.

You probably have to appreciate the background to the programme to get that - Dr Who was a cult series here from way back in the 1960s, and that sort of thing is done in the 21st century version (it having been off the screens for years, with fans clamouring for its return) in homage to the original series, where the sets wobbled, monsters were made of bits of foil and elastic bands, and lighting effects were somebody behind a screen flicking a light bulb on and off. We were less sophisticated then! ;D I stopped watching it in my teens, but it's great fun now!
