Okay, I'll confess right up front I bought this because it was a picture with Kevin McKidd. But as it turns out there isn't much McKidd but it's a really nice little Scottish film that takes place pre-WWII about a couple of Germans (one of them is Eddie Marsan!) who come to a tiny Island in the Hebrides to test the idea of sending mail by rocket.
It's a quiet little picture. I can't rave about anyone's performance, though I think the girl Catherine was out of her mind choosing the German rocket buldier over her doctor, but not everyone will agree...
at any rate, if you can lay hands on it, give it a look. It's the sort of film I wish we made in the US but be never do. Well okay we have for anyone who has seen Waterland (Irons and Cusack but an American film nonetheless)

I was thinking of buying it but couldn't find a reasonably priced copy. I did find De-lovely at the used store though and the price was right - free! I traded in 2 old VHS tapes I'd already replaced in DVD.
