Now that I think about it, shouldn't we choose a clip from a film that hasn't been represented by the Clip of the Month yet? We have so many good suggestions that we could easily do that....

I like that idea Ree. We can get that clip in from T+I that everyone loves so much in a category called, "scenes where Rufus is smashing and his costar is incompetent" or something like that. I'm going to add the pillar scene from At Sachem Farm, the scene from AKT where Adhemar reads the rolls while he is fighting in France, the opening scene in Extreme Ops where Rufus chews out Rupert Graves for the stunt gone wrong (If either this one or Charlie wins I'll put up both since I like the symmetry of Roof and Rupert, twice repeated) Will's tirade in Middlemarch when he confesses his love to Dorthea--the 'as if I was not in danger of forgetting everything else' (more understated cross Roof)--- More? As I was looking back through Rufus' work I realized he'd been cross often in many different subtle flavors. Age cannot wither him, nor custom stale his infinite variety (with apologies to the Bard for editing even one word)

One more day to add to this list if no one has any objections. If you commented on a film but didn't make a specific choice of scene could you do so now?
Thanks everyone...

How about another one from Charles II, if that's not over-loading it? I'm thinking about the scene where his brother James wants to dissolve his marriage to Hyde's daughter, and Charles gets mad about handing Parliament a precedent it can later use against him. It shows the tension not only between the brothers, but between religions and between King and Parliament - which is what the whole production is about (.....errr....well...as well as the bed-hopping ) And Rufus does get very cross. (But I have to say, the best one from CII is the sending-Buckingham-to-the-tower one. Now that's just sheer mute fury!)

that's a good one too GE2. I'll add it to the poll as well. Charles is a big production. There is a lot of cross to go around in it.
I think whatever we choose we'll need to give the lead up to the crossness as well so maybe some of these won't work. I won't know until I actually look at them.
