Or Dominique? Actually, I like best sobbing, too. Or how about best eyelashes?

Not to put a damper on all this fun but there has to actually be a scene associated with the hair. It is the "clip of the month". The word "clip" referring to a piece of film as opposed to a hair cut.

I didn't see any scene or film with Roof sobbing, even if his broken voice during the end of Veronica trial is almost a cry. Anyway I was intriguing by this pic and I wondered how might be that scene!

Okay, the whole of Dominique's last speech in Illuminata. And.....ummmm.....the scene in Higher Love with Ross demonstrating "ham" to the cook.
Heartfelt Rufie and Goofy Rufie!

You can ask around but it is my educated guess that he never had his hair that long (since bursting onto the scene). Plus, it would have taken a long time to grow it out that long from his Helen of Troy length to that. Wouldn't we have seen it in the media? Charles was 30 when he became King, are you sure that's grey in the wig?

Charles was 30 when he became King, are you sure that grey in the wig? that's why I thought it was his real hair... Okay, let's back track a bit because likely what it is, is that some of it is his hair and some isn't. Upon closer examination the hair around his face seems to be shorter so that's probably the "real hair" and the rest is some sort of prosthetic or something. anyway whatever it is, I like it.

Anyway I was intriguing by this pic and I wondered how might be that scene! I'm sorry, dreamer. I sometimes forget we aren't all native english speakers. I did not mean "sob" literally. I meant any variation of crying, from a damp eye to this picture you've put up. It's from Ali Baba and he's crying because the bandits have killed his brother for stealing from them and hung his corpse in a tree.

Thanks maxx, I'd like to see him in a highly emotional scene, I didn't see the films you talked about, just a clip by "Illuminata".

I like the idea of an emotional, teary scene, too. He does those so touchingly. Also, how about our favorite scene that includes one of Rufus's famous winks? We had a contest (hey, Maxx, you haven't challenged us to a contest in a while!) to count the number of winks in Rufus's films and there were quite a few. A favorite that comes to my mind right now is the one in Charles II with the little girl who's hurrying to find a place in the crowd to see the king. There's so much energy in that scene and his wink is so charming!

I haven't done a contest in a while but the last time I suggested one only one or two people seemed interested so I didn't pursue it. We can have one.
hmmm, maybe we can ask Rufus to autograph something. Would that be a prize worthy of a contest?

okay, how about a DVD? Do enough people have multi-region DVD players that we can make it fair?
Or would you rather it was something else?

okay, how about a DVD? Do enough people have multi-region DVD players that we can make it fair? Or would you rather it was something else? I liked your earlier suggestion of something autographed by Rufus! But failing that, the contests are fun to do and the prize isn't of paramount importance. However, if you should happen to have something from the man himself you'd be guaranteed 100 percent participation! ;D (And as you asked about the multi-region DVD player, I do have one. It was a necessity after finding out about Charles II's extra hour of footage.)
