I'm looking for suggestions on the November and December COTM. Since I won't be here part of the time I thought we could get the ball rolling a bit early--
So what would you all like to see?

Doesn't have to be sobbing, just a damp eye for whatever reason.

It never fails to touch me, no matter how many times I see it. G xo

The Woodlanders reduces me to a sobbing mess every time, it's a classic.

The Woodlanders reduces me to a sobbing mess too, but I'm sure it's for an entirely different reason. Best Breeches... is there even any contest on that one? Maybe we should wait until after Alexander Hamilton for that contest. ;D I like our new location on this by the way. I have a lot better view from here.

okay well my favorite is in Helen of Troy when he tells Helen nothing will ever make up for the death of his daughter, not even his own life. Almost makes suffering through the 4 months of the mini up until that point worth it. (I think we have one winner for either November or December, but we need another. Suggestions for a second? Not that I don't like best breeches but I think Middlemarch wins hands down in anything that has to do with clothing. Maybe we could do worst costume. Rock 'n' Roll would be somewhere near the top of my list. I think I hate the green sweater most but there are so many ugly things to chose from, it's difficult to pick just one. )

Love the crying scene idea - he tears up so brilliantly. There's a glint of a tear when I tells him that she has loved T for ages and do I remember a quick sniffle from AG when they win the vote not to mention the agonies of signing his friend's death warrant in CII.

That is a Top 5 hairdo in my book, for sure. I think my favourite is Septimus/Ladislaw:
