Hi guys. New Rufus Sewell Fan here. After seeing him in many movies I only knew him as "that bad guy from A Knights Tale", so I decided to look around, find some more movies he's been in and find some other fans. Well this is a great website, and i'm starting to slowly find some movies. Unfortunely, alot of his movies aren't available down under, so i'm having to buy dvds from either America or England on Amazon, so lucky I have an all region dvd player So any "must see" movies or tv shows he's been in, let me know. Anyone seen Dangerous Beauty / A honest courtesan?? Just brought that one on Amazon, so looking forward to receiving it. Thanks,

G'day!!! Not many of us Aussies on the board so it is fantastic to meet another Rufarian (most people I know around here go "who???" whenever I mention his name!
Personally I love "In a Savage Land" and "Uncorked" (or On Satchem Farm, all depending on which site you buy it from) - oh and have you seen "Taming of the Shrew" (absolutely not to be missed) which you can get from the ABC shop or JB HiFi (sometimes they are even on special!!!)
Just hop right on in to the chat, we are a friendly mob!

Welcome to the gang!
Add to your list "Charles II: The Power and the Passion" - his best role, as far as I'm concerned. And you will love Dangerous Beauty - don't forget to tell us what you think of it!

Find about his comic side with Illuminata and When Frank Met Martha et al (check out Movie Link). He's gorgeous and to die for (quoting a co star) but funny as anything...start with Taming of the Shrew.

Hey! Welcome, can't wait to hear your thoughts on all those great films you'll soon see. It's good that you already have an all region player. It definitely simplifies things. I know you'll enjoy the movies you've mentioned. Taming of the Shrew is one of my favorite films. Rufus was so much fun, I just know you'll love it. And Dangerous Beauty should come with a warning on the label. I've lost count of the fans who completely succumbed to Rufus' charms while watching that film! I was first captivated by Ruf when I saw him in Dark City, and there are many more, so, enjoy!

Hi guys. New Rufus Sewell Fan here. Anyone seen Dangerous Beauty / A honest courtesan?? Just brought that one on Amazon, so looking forward to receiving it. Thanks, Welcome "Nuts88"! "The honest courtesan" was the movie that made me note Rufus and fell in love with him, even if I had seen him before in Cold Comfort Farm & Carrington. The following movie I love are "Taming of the shrew" over all (and I think "Charles II" if only I could see it with subtitles), Tristan & Isolde and Dark City.

Okay, I cannot stop laughing. The Taming of the Shrew is one of the funniest movies i've seen for awhile, and seeing Rufus in the heels (very nice shoes by the way i have a shoe addiction lol), miniskirt and fishnets was hillarious. Loved it. Plus i've only seen Shirley Henderson in Bridget Jones Diary, but what a fantastic actress. She looks so little, its funny because shes so small and has so much rage. Loved it, thanks guys for the recommendations. Hoping my copy of Dangerous Beauty will arrive sometime this week

Hi nuts, would you rather be called N88 or something? I'm happy to hear you had as much fun watching TTOTS as I do. I've become a fan of Shirley Henderson's work now too, and can recommend a film I've just seen called Dirty Filthy Love. She is also in Charles II with Rufus. Have you seen that one yet? It's not to be missed, four hours of Rufus in nearly every scene Also, do you know about our sister site at www.roofsewell.comIt's dedicated to Ruf's work and is a work of art itself!
