I think we'd all like it, Maxx, it's just that it's getting harder and harder to come up with sensible ideas for competitions. Best acting by Rufus in a hat? Best acting by one of Rufus' hats? Maybe we're all competitioned out but that's probably just me.

okay... we'll wait a bit. And for the moment I'll hold on the COTM. I expected that one to go on longer. It's only been about 16 months since we started it, so I'm surprised to see it end so soon.

Well, maybe it's time to have a different take on it? Rather than having a poll for "Best..." whatever, why not go through each of his films/TV in turn, and nominate and then vote on favourite scenes in each of them? That way there will be something from all his work to be showcased. Didn't we do that to start with? Just a thought. |

A good thought, GE2. Maybe it did get a bit too narrow. My two pennyworth wasn't intended as a criticism of anyone by the way, I just think we maybe all got a bit lazy with it. GE's suggestion would involve a more intelligent input and get the grey stuff working again.

Didn't take it that way ruthy. I was just sitting back to see if anyone chimed in or didn't. GE2s idea is a good one. I've been trying forever to get as broad examples as I'm able of Rufus work. Picking a specific piece of work is a good way to do it.
