Rufus Sewell and Sam Taylor Wood 19 Jun 2008 www.rexfeatures.com/search/?kw=RUFUS%20SEWELL&ord=N(Maaaaaxxxxxxxxx!!!!! Can you magic up the larger pics, please? ) Now I've googled, and Sam Taylor Wood was at a charity event yesterday, Karaoke With The Stars, held at London jazz club Ronnie Scott's to raise funds to support the work of the Hoping Foundation for Palestinian refugee children. No mention of Rufus being there, though. Oh, and while I'm doing my stalker bit (JOKE!), Rufus was supposedly still in NYC on Monday, at the premiere of "Trumbo" at the Tribeca cinema. www.variety.com/article/VR1117987670.html?categoryid=38&cs=1&nid=2562 Lots of pics from that event around, but none with Rufus - drat! Or maybe he was expected and didn't go?

, if he was at that event or not, I wish I had been there! What a line-up. Some of my favorites - Nick Cave, Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry, Jeff Beck!!!! Rai Gwyneth Paltrow dazzled an all-star audience with her karaoke performance of Killing Me Softly. The Oscar-winning actress joined a host of celebrities at charity event Karaoke With The Stars, held at London jazz club Ronnie Scott's to raise funds to support the work of the Hoping Foundation for Palestinian refugee children. Bruce Forsyth hosted the evening in which the audience - which included Rhys Ifans, Robbie Coltrane, Davina McCall, Jemima Khan, Trinny Woodhall and Susannah Constantine - bid to hear the stars sing. Gwyneth brought the house down with her performance, which alone raised £45,000 for the charity, and afterwards Bruce told her: "You can kill me any way you like." The music began with Lulu performing Shout, accompanied by Jools Holland on piano and Gwyneth, Sharleen Spiteri, Donna Air and Sam Taylor-Wood as impromptu back-up singers. Jarvis Cocker belted his way through My Sharona, Sharleen sang Baby Love and Nick Cave performed He's The Greatest Dancer, with the two audience members who bid for the song as backing dancers. Bryan Ferry reprised his classic Let's Stick Together with Lily Cole and Bruce Forsyth sang The Lady Is A Tramp. Lou Reed performed Dirty Boulevard and all the performers joined in the finale of Hi Ho Silver Lining, led by Jeff Beck and Nigel Kennedy on violin.

Oh, "doh" to me! The confirmation of where the above photos were taken was staring me in the face - yes, he was at the karaoke event. (Which means he's back in the UK - yayyyy!) Maybe he was only an observer there - but wouldn't you love to see him do karaoke at an event like that? He'd have to do a Bowie number, wouldn't he? "Starman"? ;D

(You know these have completely disappeared from Rex. Hummm wonder if someone made a goof and they were something old. I don't think so - Rex keeps on removing photos. All the ones they had from the Louis Vuitton thing have gone now, too. Strange, though, that the thumbnails from the karaoke event haven't turned into little red xs.
