Glad to be of service, Maxx. We aim to please and also to entertain. Without wishing to question anyone's psychoanalyses, he was probably just trying to catch the eye of a passing wine waiter

leelee, no need to worry about Thursday nights conflicting with ER, I believe this is the last season, you can always record ER and watch Ruf. no worries, it's not really a difficult decision. I love ER but it's not Rufus. I know you know what I mean.

As per the request at this website www.thefutoncritic.com/rant.aspx?id=20080521, I won't reproduce what is said, except to note that: ~ I like the sound of Jacob (love that name!) being eccentric ~ "a tragic past" sounds a bit formulaic (wife and child died in a revenge attack on him, maybe?) ~ Marley Shelton's being replaced! And I'm ignoring the assessment of the pilot until I've seen it for myself (but "ouch"!)

Do you really think Marley Shelton is being replaced? .....when are auditions ....I could guard his body ...

Do you really think Marley Shelton is being replaced? .....when are auditions ....I could guard his body ... Me too! Me too! If Marley is being replaced, it must have been a very recent thing, because Rufus himself mentioned Marley on the Early Show.

He even verifies it in the Playbill article - but if so, Shirley Henderson would be the perfect bodyguard.

Thanks, Rainy! Although I think I'd get a headache if I watched it too often!

There was a slight, very slight mention in this week's People mag, and I quote "Rufus Sewell, a Brit of the sexy-brooder school, is a scientist-crimefighter on Eleventh Hour". Sadly no pic. I too have seen two promos for it albeit silent ones in between episodes of CSI. I really wish that they'd let him use his own "voice" I don't think they give American viewers credit for understanding foreign accents. Much sexier and I think more intriguing. I'm looking forward to it's airing and it's got a great time slot.
