Here is a link to the trailer for the US version of Life on Mars. It made me cringe. Perhaps those of you who haven't seen the brilliant UK version with the aforementioned John Simm and the wonderful Philip Glenister can be more objective. I haven't seen the UK version yet and this looks okay to me. But then I'll watch anything with Colm Meaney in it at least once.

I was watching CSI tonight and at around 9:44 --I SAW A PREVIEW for the eleventh hour --I just saw the tail end of it...anyone else see it that can elaborate on it--I think it was just clips and no dialogue--it looked good from what I saw

Thanks for the heads up on this one. Being on the West Coast, it gave me a chance to actually watch for it. Very slick. If I didn't know what it was I would have been very intrigued. It was obviously meant to generate questions and buzz.
For anyone that hasn't caught it, it flashes the words cloning and either children or baby or fetus across the screen with what looks like a some microscope slides inner cut with some very fast stills and music. Then at the end it just says Eleventh Hour comming this fall. It's around 15 - 30 seconds.

Someone at TV Week has good taste: Eleventh Hour: This looks good. Rufus Sewell is attractive and the situation is very X-Files-ish, about cloning, which piqued my curiosity. It also has an expensive look, good cinematography. Yes, that's superficial of me to say (also about how cute Rufus is), but it matters. This show is getting the royal treatment by CBS; great time period (after CSI, Thursday at 10 o'clock). I'm betting we'll be watching it for a full season at least.www.tvsquad.com/2008/05/15/tv-week-gives-a-peek-at-cbss-new-shows/

Hope you all can get to this link, was on CBS This Morning (Thursday) Forget Julie Chen she's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier in fact she's quite dim but he's talking about the new show, contrary to another comment the show looks quite interesting. Again many appologies for Julie Chen. www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_video/main500251.shtml?id=4098540n

leelee, no need to worry about Thursday nights conflicting with ER, I believe this is the last season, you can always record ER and watch Ruf.

Very nice T!!! Do you get the feeling that Rufus is an auditory person? All that looking to the left had me wondering what was going through his mind at the time.

I think he's addressing two people I disagree, Ruthy. I've seen those mannerisms before - I think he was just giving thought to his answers. Rai
