There was a photo exhibition of actors at the National Theatre in London. It's a collection of some really amazing pictures of stage actors in black and white taken half an hour before the curtain went up. It seems to be over now, but there's a book available: "The Half. Photographs of Actors Preparing for the Stage." Faber and Faber. Rufus' was taken when he did "Macbeth". I find it absolutely fascinating. It has such incredible depth.
