Do you think the show will be canceled? On the IMDB forums, there are a LOT of posts on the EH board. This is from www.tvguide.com/News/Fall-2008-Shows-66966.aspx - it gives me some hope! : Eleventh Hour, CBS Signs of Life: It's steadily winning its Thursdays-at-10 time slot (albeit with only some 60 percent of CSI's audience). One Reason to Save It: While The Mentalist gets all the glory, this freshman drama has the guts to be edgy and dark. One Reason to Shelve It: Hey, a quick show of hands — who knows what Eleventh Hour is about? IF by chance, it DOES get canceled, I hope Rufus quickly finds bigger and better acting jobs!

No, I don't think it will be cancelled when it's winning its time slot.

I think it is good for a few years. It does limit his vast range and very slowly allows him to maneuver around within the confines of the character. With more time and freedom, Rufus can do anything. I have hope it will stick around for a while with adjustments.

No, I don't think it will be cancelled when it's winning its time slot. I hope so. I'm just paranoid because a lot of great shows that I loved, that were even loved by critics, got the boot too soon. (I'm referring to cable tv shows though, maybe they're more strict or something)

Womens Murder Club anyone? Such a victim of the writers strike...
Lets hope EH can weather the looming actors strike...

Not sure if this has been posted already, although I'm sure it has, EH has been picked up for 5 episodes, and air date will move from Thursdays to Tuesdays. Did not win it's last time slot as there was a Barbara Walters special that aired opposite/ Otherwise it's doing well in it's slot. I posted someting on the CBS off. site, they really need to publicize the show more, The Mentalist seems to be the favorite of the network right now and they are plugging it like mad. I have now seen 8 episodes and have found that the show needs work, not with it's stars, Shelton has gotten better and Ruf, well, no complaints from me on that one. He is soooooo much better that the material that he is given, the stories are compelling considering that they are in part based on science fact rather than fiction. The fault lies in the direction. Anyone in the industry who is familiar with Mr. Sewell's work and considerable talents must know what he is capable of. Must his charachter be so dark all the time??? Perhaps injecting more believable humanness (crikey is that a word?) is the answer. Ms. Shelton, has improved somewhat and again the direction needs work.

This past Saturday, December 13, Eleventh Hour's Cardiac Episode, was rerun on Channel 2 (WBBM) at either 8 or 9 pm. Is this strictly Chicago (or Illinois) or has anyone else noticed a second run of episodes in their locale? I thought maybe they were just testing days for a switch.

Well CSI has had re-runs on different days before too. I think they use it as filler when they have nothing else...I really hope they don't move it to Saturdays though...drama's die on the weekends, always have.

They have been showing repeats of EH the last couple of weeks due no doubt to the Christmas Holidays and it's still been winning it's slot. There has been talk of moving it to Tuesdays, that could spell the death knell for it. I think it's a good fit after CI.
I still don't think CBS has done much publicity for it at least not as much as they've been plastering the airwaves with spots for the Mentalist. I hope they have faith and give it a full renewal.

I'm hopeful the show will be picked up for a second season. It's holding steady in the ratings and, has as been mentioned before, I think if CBS would just publicize the show more, they could attract more viewers. The possiblity of an actor's strike does worry me; if CBS throws on a cheap to produce reality or game show that ends up being a hit, it could put actual scripted shows like EH in danger of being cancelled in favor of a show that doesn't cost as much and is attracting a large audience.

^Yeah, I can't believe the LACK of promotion. When I heard he was doing this how, I was all excited thinking he'd be on a LOT of interviews.
