Slightly, ever so slightly, as I told DGD on another thread, I will not retract my vote. I wish they had waited a bit longer to introduce a secondary character. He's still a bit buffoonish for me, loved Rachel's scene in the rain. But I find Felix not believable.

I definitely understand your concerns. I thought he was less of a wriggling puppy this time around. Of course, if future episodes are as badly written as last night's, whether he's a good character or not won't matter.

Yeah, that was something I didn't want to touch upon, but comment I must. It wasn't well written at all, last week's episodes and those before it were much improved, looks like we're moving backward. One step forward and two steps back. I can only imagine what he must be thinking as he's reading his lines. I think I just realised what the problem is, EH is different than most crime shows on television in that it's partly based on science fact not fiction, the writers must have an average age of 13, and those that are writing don't have a grasp on the subject matter. because I fear it is beyond their grasp. They are snot nosed 20 and 30 somethings who know lattes and video games, but probably didn't do to well in college other than partying. It's almost as if they don't care and will put anything to paper so long as there is a half assed explanation at the end. Ruf is soooooooooooo much better than the material he has been given, what an insult.

You are so right. Can you imagine going from Tom Stoppard's writing to last night's idiocy? I have read fan fiction that was more plausible and more sensible with more realistic dialog. Hard to believe that the writers were one of the producers, who also wrote Frozen, and the woman who wrote H20 and Agro, which were episodes I enjoyed.

if ever jacob & rachel are to "get together" in the "biblical sense", perhaps we could suggest that they do it next week, since it's probably the last episode ever.

Go out in a blaze of glory, you mean? I know you're just joking, but I'd rather picture them going on as before,* an efficient and harmonious little team. *Although if they were to actually show said "get together" I could probably be persuaded to change my mind.

well, yes, that IS the point, right??
if ever these writers from hell show us j&r coming out of their hotel room, both looking sweaty, disheveled and guilty looking, under felix' outraged and accusing stare (ridiculous joke music playing), i leave for hollywood right away with a case of TNT in my trunk.
and don't worry, i am quite sure that j&r can have sex in efficient and harmonious team-spirit.
