From Spoiler TV: Henry in Arkadelphia, Ark.: You don't talk about it much, but anything you can share on Eleventh Hour?
Look for a third party to cut in between Jacob and Rachel. Felix is a young FBI agent who thinks Jacob is a genius—and has a crush on Rachel. Love triangle! spoilertv.blogspot.com/2008/11/latest-from-kristin-various-shows_25.htmlMaybe a raw new recruit? That has the potential for some fun and games. I wonder if he'll be a permanent addition to the team?

Jacob wouldn't even notice...he's such a lovable goofie scientist...kind of like Grissom in season 1...tottaly unaware of how women react to him..it's cute really...of course with Grissom it's getting old...lol
Good looking out Green...

A third character could be a good idea, I think it's far too early for a romance between Rachel and Hood. I hope they introdcuce more personal information on Hood's life. I want to know more about him.
DGD loved your comments. LOL!!!

Hi y'all!
His being unaware of how desireable he is, is so endearing. That quality just makes us all want him more! I hope they start to flesh out his character a little more, show what makes him tick. All we really know is that his wife died. I liked in in the last episode where Rachel says he spends a lot of time in his head, so she's there to watch his back. I'd love to watch his back. I'd love to watch all his sides. Sigh!

First and foremost, I like the characters and the actors. However, I think they still need to solidify Rachels expertise and purpose in Jacob's world. There are little to no instances where he blindly offends someone or some corporation to the point of needing a special handler/protector. Actually, after the last episode, they are continuing to create such a sensitive, caring individual that no one would want to harm him. I think Jacob needs a nemesis - that would add another dimension to the series.

To parse what a reviewer said awhile back, "the language is so hackneyed that you're too busy worrying the talented Mr. Sewell will drown in cliches before your eyes " to pay attention to unrolling events .I think they should clean up the writing ...soon.

I pretty much agree. And a lot of the guest stars/minor characters seem kind of...weak, to me. I don't know if it's the acting or writing, or both. (Is it just me?)

perhaps they could untilize a flashback sequence. A bit corny I know but if done the right way perhaps it could be a way of explaining things. The directing needs work.
I agree with you 100% anniebanani, with your comment on how endearing he is. Brains and beauty all in one neat package. What more could a girl want??? I've been reading several comments and I still think the acting is fine but the show lacks direction. Actors take their que from them, and then make the characters come alive as they (the actor) see it. Perhaps those who have been directing the episodes should be forced to see his films to truly understand what he can do. American tv, I'm convicned is geared for the truly stupid and those of a short attention span. Come on CBS give us some credit.

Well not all American TV is geared towards stupid people...granted, a lot of it is...like most of the dumb comedy shows that seem to be favorites (Ugly Betty, My Name is Earl, How I Met Your Mother....to name a few) There hasn't been an intelligent comedy since Home Improvement IMO.
Drama and Crime seems to be okay....although shows like Lost and Prison Break seem to be a bad idea for a TV show...I mean honestly....how long can you drag out a prison break or a plane wreck? They would be okat movies...but to drag them out in a televison series just seems to patronize us.
Now there are the intelligent shows that have heart and brains. Womens Murder Club, CSI, Raising the Bar and EH are the ones that jump out at me. Problem is though that TPTB are trigger happy. They see that a show might be sagging, or a victim of bad circumstances (WMC) and they pull the trigger, they shoot themselves in the foot by releasing a good show instead of working to make it better, only to replace it with something horrid (Lipstick Jungle...Cashmere Mafia....Desperate Housewives....) And even if the fans rally and work hard to save a show, like with Jericho...they may keep it around for another season to appease the fans, but they never intend on keeping it.
I know that CBS is usually pretty good in their decisions and they usually produce quality shows, which is probably why the five shows I do like are all on CBS (EH, CSI, Survivor, The Mentalist and The Amazing Race)
Ah well.

Looks like the addition of an agent called Felix is confirmed: • CBS' freshman sorta-hit Eleventh Hour is adding a new agent later this season played by Omar Benson Miller (Miracle at St. Anna). His character, an FBI trainee by the name of Felix, is eager to join Agent Young's team. Miller is booked for a minimum of three episodes.spoilertv.blogspot.com/2009/01/casting-news-various-shows.html
