Hi Everyone, This radio play (featuring Rufus) was hosted on a website called www.nicksilvercantsleep.org.uk until recently, I used to listen to it all the time but it's now been removed. I wondered if anyone has a copy or an mp3 file of the play they would be generous enough to send to me? I really miss listening to it! Many thanks w.x ;D

Hi, wma. We have this on our sister site. Just go to www.roofsewell.com/Silver.htm and click on the link near the bottom. I've just checked and you can still access it from there. Rufus sounds so wonderful in that, doesn't he? Almost erotic at times.... Phew! *fans self* Enjoy! GE2

you know i finally could figure out a way to download. this is good! what a voice!! i would say, not to contradict you, GE2, but not as much erotic than hypnotizing. i really felt very relaxed listening to plants converse. me who loves plants. i think my cactii liked it too.

It sounds especially wonderful on an Ipod, which is how I listen to it, and have on more than one occasion. It got awfully warm in here. Time to open window.

Tipou, I agree, he was hypnotising all the way through but for me, listening to him say "You drive me wild......" in that breathy/growly voice was definitely erotic!! (On the old site we used to have a "cold shower" icon - we need that back!) I've said it before, but this really must have been the weirdest script Rufus has had to contend with - and I'd love to have heard how his agent pitched it to him: "Rufus....... you get to play a plant..." (And I hadn't even thought about putting it on my i-Pod! I don't think that's the sort of thing I should be listening to on my way to work, though, in case of a "When Harry Met Sally" moment )

ok GE2, i agree. "you drive me wild... i want to be yours..." ok, then, hypnotizing AND erotic. god i love his voice. he could be reciting the phone book, for all i care. but this is a very lovely piece of writing.

Me too have it on my ipod and when I'm relaxing listening to it in random mode and suddenly, from the silent, his voice comes out saying "I dream about you..." I have an heart attack, always! And what about ".....I want to lose myself to you, I want to be yours, please, just one night!!!" Yeeeeeees! And when I listen to it in bed, I can't get to the end, I fall asleep before (and if lucky, I dream about him! ;D)

I LOVE this site...I'm addicted! You guys are all so funny, I've been cracking up all morning reading this stuff about this radio play and the reactions to HIS voice. I haven't heard it yet (tried but it wouldn't open) but wouldn't it be fun if "we" could somehow put a clip of his voice saying the most provocative words from the play to come on every time we open this web site??!! Wonder what my boss would think about that!

No, wait, maybe I should figure out a way to do that everytime I start up or shut down MY computer when I come into work every morning! What a way to start and end my day!
