Thanks for that GE2 - it is a wonderful play. I will never be forgetful of my plants again. I can imagine them in the middle of summer "please - someone - i need a drink", and i quite fancy getting a Nick Silver for myself!!!
I didn't find that listening to it in bed helped me sleep one bit tho - just layed there for what seemed like hours with that voice in my head (I dream of you ....... sometimes!!!)

Numbat, you have also found all of Rufus' James Bond books too havent you? audible.com has them for about $10 us each. Just in case you were after voices in your head while you do your exercises - it's what inspired Stephen Fry to lose weight.

Quoll, are you suggesting i need to lose weight!!!! (ROFL - i really do!!!)
I had read that about Stephen Fry - it's just, well, a little bit wrong tho isn't it!!! It's bad enough having to share Roof with the other women of the world without having to share him with Stephen Fry!!!!
I bought the Woodlanders from Audible so i might have to go back and check out the James Bonds - thanks for that tip. Perhaps that's what i can do in Singapore instead of watching DVDs (do you think my Mum will get mad with me if i listen to my ipod all the time tho - it'll be like being a teenager again, LOL!!!)

LOl no, of course not, I just know that most people exercise (I should!!!) and any excuse for a listen to Rufus is better than none. You can really get the heart rate up with James Bond!

Excellent - that sounds like a plan!!! At least the dog will get a regular walk. Perhaps i should ONLY be allowed to listen to Roof when i'm out walking - that would be an incentive to actually go!!!

Thanks to rueful I've been able to listen to Nick Silver this morning on my way to work. Quite a weird piece, but extremely beautiful. This voice is downright sinful! (And I don't think I should ever let Mr. Kate hear it )

This is one of the most seductive readings I've ever heard. This is probably a recording that men wouldn't appreciate the same way we do.

Of course he is! But I don't think he'd like listening much as he seems to have a thing about his own voice

I must have missed a detail somewhere. The link above doesn't resolve to a site any more. Help!
