Famke, that was posted in my exuberant Rufus adolescence, a couple of months ago. I want you to know that I've matured ever so much now, and focus almost exclusively on admiration for his stellar acting abilities. I hardly ever think of or mention his glorious hair, his beautiful eyes, his sexy stubble, his impressive chest, how yummy he looks when he's wet...... oh, crap.

Late to this thread ( buT then late to everything) but have only just seen the Illusionist which I feel strongly upholds Tipou's theory about bad guys. I also feel strongly that the hairdressers on LOZ , TI and EH should be slung inside for a very long time preferable with hard labour. But then as I have said before I do have a thing about his hair

But francesca - how can you NOT want to run your hands over this hair, it's just so...............................touchable!!!!! Armand had a horrible straight wig but underneath it was sexy & cropped!!!

seems that, often when rufus plays a king, he has a minimum of head pilosity - charles II, tristan & isolde. Sorry here is a king! He has lots of hair. Attachments:

this was such a fascinating thread, even though most of the photos are not showing up on my screen now. I have a theory about the terrible wig/style job in zorro. had they allowed rufus' actual natural hair to be part of the picture, every woman watching would have preferred his villian to the zorro-hero and there would have been no point to the plot. clearly, they had to make him look far less attractive than he normally is. glad they haven't taken that approach every time he's been the baddie. must have been a new director. anyway, thought the thread might be worth bringing up again since there are some new hair-raising aspects of his career to consider. comments, anyone?

I've seen this thread before but I think I never read it in its entirety. What a hoot! I love tipou's theories and the ensuing disproof ;D I can't really say what my favourite Rufus hairstyle is. I'm not too partial to facial hair in general, but Marke or Giles kill me softly with their black stubble I do prefer a bit of the curls to show, generally, but I don't really care if it's the longer or shorter version. They always make me want to bury my hands in his hair While I hate Armand's strange wig in LOZ, I think it does set off his aristocratic cheekbones and nose very beautifully. I like your theory, anglophile - if he had been allowed to show his real hair, there might have been a kind of Franco effect with people wishing the girl would get to run off with the "wrong" guy ;D Oh, and I loved this: so take the hair theory with a grain of salt. i see the brains underneath the mop! for me, ultimate male sexiness has to do with lots of brains... Amen!
