What a cap-it! That facial expression is great with that line! Pitt: Let me introduce Mr Thomas Clarkson. Clarkson: Hi, Wimpy, nice to meet you. Wilberforce: Umm, my name is William... Clarkson: Oops, so Wimpy is not short for William? Wilberforce: No, it isn't. Clarkson: Well, then you should make this clear to the Members of Parliament to stop a running joke. Wilberforce: Who finds this funny? Clarkson: Everyone...no, no, it's not funny at all, of course.Rufus: "Wimpy"? It's funny. We should redub some scenes. Hayley Atwell: We should. David Oakes <to himself>: Well, just try to poke fun at William Hamleigh, guys, you'll be surprised how easy to get cut in post production!!! - You are so sensitive! It was a joke. You are not wimpy...But you are not a knight either. And you don't have a bunny like Wilberforce had. And you don't have a big sword like Hamleigh had. So I won't marry you. I want a better William. - Okay. <Neurotic girl leaves.>HAPPY END

The voice of Dorothea Brooke: Sorry, neurotic girl, and sorry to all you other ladies. The perfect William is here with me. It's just that I don't call him that.

Billy: Um ... Miss Brooke ... haven't you forgotten something? I'm a William too, at least it says so on my birth certificate!

This is from the Translations thread: "Rufus Sewell <.....>makes his American stage debut. He injects his performance with humor and charisma." Who ate the pork pie???Dammit, Rufus, you mustn't eat our props!! ((From the BAFTA Tea Party in 2012: Q: Is there a noticeable difference between British and American award shows? A: I don't know because I haven't gone round the corner yet to see if they have sandwiches yet. Like a true British actor, I didn't eat before I came, you know that old joke: "there's not much pay but there's a real pork pie in the second scene." )) P.S. And since I just love this smile of that BAFTA Tea Party, I add a P.S. picture... Q: Was your American stage debut delicious? A:

We-ell, The dress rehearsal was but afterwards ..... I forgot that Dennehy had worked in the UK, so after that he managed to get in first every time.
That's the way it goes!

Hayley: Rufus, I don't understand why you let him get the pie - I thought you could outwit anyone. I am quite disappointed! Rufus: Yes, I can. But you have to learn a rule: look at the opponent before you start to outwit... They might get upset,so don't start a duel if you are not sure you will win.But if you are BIG enough,...!
