Ok, we've all seen the ads for those "miracle" products but have you ever bought one? If so, what was your experience with it?
I just bought a Snuggie and I have to say, I love it! I have electric baseboard heat so I prefer bundling up rather than turning my heat up and having my electric bill go through the roof. It's 2 degrees Farenheit outside right now, my heat is on the minimum setting and I'm sitting her, wrapped up in my Snuggie and I'm very comfortable.
I bought a Braidini a couple of years ago; it was a tool that was supposed to help women style their hair in different variations of a French braid. Of course, the commercials made it look like it was so easy a child could do it but I never could figure out how to use it so I eventually gave up.

I'm suckered - yesterday I signed up for a Military Miss Bootcamp as advertised to make you into a gorgeous Elle McPherson lookalike. Ummm well, perhaps not, I shall be lucky to end up alive I suspect.

DH bought me a Roomba for our anniversary (I'm actually quite "gadgety", so it's not as unromantic as it sounds, but it's no diamond ring). It's a round programmable vaccuum cleaner that sweeps the floor, and I actually like it.
Except when we accidentally programmed it to vacuum at 2 a.m. instead of 2 p.m. and I frantically woke my husband up, thinking we had a burglar downstairs. Imagine my surprise when my DH starts laughing as he got to the landing and said "relax, go back to sleep, it's only Roomba". So maybe it's a watchdog as well!

Ummm well, perhaps not, I shall be lucky to end up alive I suspect. I ordered the Tae Bo vhs tapes, thinking it looked like a fun way to get in shape. First time I used them, I felt my hip socket pop and ended up limping around for a couple of weeks. Afterwards, I saw something on tv about all the Tae Bo related injuries doctors had coming into their offices. I'm thinking of getting the EZ Combs; I have long hair, all the way down my back, and I usually just wear it in a ponytail. I thought these things might give me more "stylish" options to keep my hair out of the way.

I have yet to buy any of the stuff I see on TV, I just never was tempted enough I suppose. If I ever did, it would probably be some war documentary or something on Hitler.

My 8 year old nephew recently told me I needed a Snuggie (he saw me walking around the house in a blanket)...I hadn't even heard of it. I WANT ONE NOW!

My 8 year old nephew recently told me I needed a Snuggie (he saw me walking around the house in a blanket)...I hadn't even heard of it. I WANT ONE NOW! Like I said, I love mine! I usually come home from work, make myself a cup of herbal tea, get into my Snuggie, and watch a little tv before I go to bed. I told some folks at work I have one and they kinda teased me about it but I told 'em, don't knock it 'til you've tried it!

If anyone has seen the advert for Shamwow, it honest and truly works. Better than any sponge you'll ever use and cleaner too! You can wash them and they are more sanitary than sponges. I've used them on my car and for all general cleaning, in and out of the house. I keep the outdoor ones separate from the indoor ones. Plus the commercial is pretty funny. I bought mine at my local Costco.

I got some of those EZ combs; they're ok although the instructional dvd I got with it is messed up. I've had some problems getting them to stay in my hair but they do make a nice alternative to the regular rubberband style ponytail holders.
